WASHINGTON BUSINESS JOURNAL NAMES THREE WIRE SYSTEMS AN OUTSTANDING VETERAN-OWNED BUSINESS
Falls Church, VA (July 3, 2020) – Three Wire Systems, LLC (Three Wire), has been recognized for its outstanding service as a Veteran Owned Business in the Greater Washington area by the Washington Business Journal’s 2020 Veterans in Business Awards. Out of nearly 60 nominations, Three Wire is the only recipient of an award given to a company.
The Veterans in Business Awards honor Greater Washington’s military veteran business leaders for distinguished work within business as well as their efforts to support the veteran community in and beyond the workplace. This year’s award recognizes one company and 11 individual honorees including veterans, combat veterans, retired veterans or those currently on reserve status in the U.S. military.
Based in Falls Church, Virginia, Three Wire is a technology company founded by a former U.S. Navy officer. For the past 14 years, the company has worked with government agencies to offer lifecycle management, IT modernization and cybersecurity solutions. In 2007, Three Wire began offering tele-mental health and holistic care services to transitioning military members and veterans through its MyAdvisor program. Today, the company works with a variety of organizations including military branches, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense and Fortune 500 companies committed to hiring veterans. It also recently partnered with the Yellow Ribbon Fund to serve 1,500 veteran caregivers across the country.
“Three Wire as a company is designed to provide the right solutions for the right outcomes,” said Dan Frank, CEO and founder of Three Wire. “Our company allows for flexibility to stay ahead of the curve with our technology and serving our Veterans. We’re honored to join such a prestigious list of honorees and applaud our peers for their profound impact on the veteran community.”
Although the in-person event for the awards has been cancelled this year, the Washington Business Journal is running a special issue on July 10 to commemorate the honorees.
